He has been involved in all aspects of litigation, including pretrial and trial matters, but has a strong background in complex law and motion practice, post-trial matters, writs, and appeals.

Graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2001. He is a member of the Order of the Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing individuals who excel in oral advocacy and brief writing skills, and has practiced in appellate law for over twelve years. For four years, in addition to his law practice, he taught an advanced appellate advocacy course at the University of Houston Law Center as an adjunct professor of law.
